Common questions
Which DICOMweb servers does Slim work with?
Any server that implements QIDO-RS and WADO-RS. Slim is used daily with the Google Cloud Healthcare API and ships a Docker Compose setup with dcm4chee-arc-light. Orthanc works through its DICOMweb plugin.
The worklist shows a communication error, but curl works.
Check that the server allows the Slim origin through CORS, that the configured URL is the DICOMweb root, and that an HTTPS deployment is not calling a plain-HTTP archive.
Can I use Slim without IDC?
Yes. IDC is one deployment. Configure your own archive in public/config and build or run the Docker image.
Where are annotations saved?
As DICOM Comprehensive 3D SR objects, stored with STOW-RS on a server configured with write access.
